3 USES OF FRAMING
framing is used in photography to show the viewer where they should be focusing and where they should be focusing their attention to, it also draws the audience away from any distractions of the photograph by highlighting the subject.
PROS and CONS - PROS - you can clearly see the main subject of the photo meaning the audience will immediately know what they have to look at.
CONS - there are not that many negatives however it doesn't look natural.
here you can see that i have positioned my friend Douglas's eye on one side of a key hole and i put my camera on the other side of the lock putting it really close so it can focus on the eye making the key hole my frame for this picture as you can see the foreground is kind of blurry and all of the cameras focus is on the eye giving the photo to have a mystical feeling behind it giving it an enigma code.
here you can see that i have positioned Douglas on one side of the frame and i out i mid shot on his body this makes it so Douglas is the focus on the photo having a different focus has been constructed through the use of different framing between the three pictures.

here you can see that i have positioned Douglas through the window of the door with a medium close up shot as you can see Douglas is the focus of the camera and the sides of the window are the frames for the photo making the audience know easily that Douglas is the main object of the photo. Having a different focus has been constructed through the use of different framing between the three pictures.
