3 portraits
in digital photography the meaning of portraits is capturing the essence, personality, identity and attitude of a person utilizing background, lighting and posing.
PROS and CONS - PROS - portraits captures people's images, highlighting their emotions and moods. CONS - little pixels of colour, often with area that are out of focus or poorly lit and portrait photos can tend to be a little boring.
this is my first picture of having a portrait and as you can see, my face is the main point of the photo, as you can also see, that the background is dark however with the use of lighting, I was able to make my face bright which made it stand out as a result I was able to show my facial expression for my first portrait. in order to take this photo I had to make sure I used the 3 point lighting technique in order to make my photo good.
this is my second picture of using the portrait and as you can see, that it is very similar to the first photo in the way that I have a dark photo and that the main image is of my face and also I used the 3 point lighting as well which really helped out in highlighting my face in the image. However the only difference was the fact that I was looking away from the camera this makes the photo have an enigma code as the audience might want to know why I was looking away from the camera

this is my third and final photo of using portraits in my photo as you can see from the photo I have used lighting as a key feature in my photo this could be seen as the background being quite dark and the fact that my face lights up with the help of the 3 point lighting overall you can see my face clearly. overall the use of portraits are good to having a good knowledge of how a person is feeling however it could be repetitive and a bit boring.
